In this week's "short share," we have a two-year book writing plan from HuntersWritings.com. While two years might be an unnecessarily long time for many indie authors these days, I think it's a great plan for new authors -- especially those trying to write their first book alongside a traditional day job.
If you find yourself with limited time to write, but you'd like to publish a book, consider this plan.

If you've already published, or if you're currently working on a book, how does this plan differ from your own? Do you think it's realistic for new authors? Why or why not?
Not too unrealistic. Takes much longer to revise than to write the first draft. This infographic puts a lot more emphasis on planning than I would recommend, but I like to come out of the chute writing and plan as I go.
Thanks for your input Eric.
That’s actually what I like about this — the emphasis on planning. To each his or her own. 🙂
Love the thought behind the infographic (especially for new aspiring authors as you point out), although I believe this process could be condensed by 50-75% of the time.
